In celebration of Transport for London’s Year of the Bus, LEGO unveiled a full-sized bus stop made entirely from LEGO bricks in 2014. Over 100,000 bricks were used to bring this playful masterpiece to life.
More nerdy info:
- Constructed from approximately 100,000 LEGO bricks
- Designed by Duncan Titmarsh, the UK’s only Certified LEGO Professional
- Took 14 days to build
- Located on Regent Street, London W1, near Hamleys
- Shell and installation by Trueform

It was a way of commemorating 60 years of the iconic Routemaster, 75 years of the RT-type bus and 100 years since London buses served on the Western Front during WWI
