Brazil Day in Trafalgar Square, 2014

On June 12, 2014, Trafalgar Square transformed into a vibrant hub of Brazilian culture as Londoners and visitors alike gathered to celebrate Brazil Day. The event coincided with the opening day of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, hosted in Brazil, and brought the spirit of the tournament to the heart of London.

The square was adorned in the yellow, blue, and green of Brazil. The atmosphere was electric, filled with the sounds of samba drumming, live music, and DJ sets, perfect settings from a flaming hot June day!

I found the celebrations to be a perfect way to begin the start of the World Cup, which still holds to be my most favourite tournament – blog post on this coming soon!
