I was gifted this beautiful Dune exclusive edition by a dear friend who is an avid book-reader. Dune is by far my most favourite Sci-Fi novel, my original copy started to fall apart by the amount of times I used to carry it around in my backpack. I’m assuming this edition was released to tie in with the recent movie.

The book does not come with the The Litany Against Fear in the first few pages as the 50th Anniversary Edition does but I’ve written it below because I find it so powerful!

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.
